Relaxation ovens and boxes

Elastocon offers cell ovens specially designed for stress relaxation tests of rubber. This means that the inner height of the cells are adapted to fit our relaxation rigs to achieve as good thermal contact as possible with the bottom of the cell.

The oven also has an intergrated draught hood that eliminates the changes in the force during the test due to temperature changes in the enviroment around the top part of the rigs. The hood is made of polycarbonate, and has a temperature control system (Peltier cooling system) capable of keeping the temperature within ± 0,25 °C.

We can also offer two types of temperature boxes, for room temperature and below.

Cell oven, EB 17

The EB 17 cell oven for relaxation tests with temperature cycling has 6 cells with the same temperature and individual control of the air exchange rate for each cell.

Cell oven, EB 21

The EB 21 cell oven for relaxation tests has 4 cells with individual temperatures and individual control of the air exchange rate for each cell.

Cell oven, EB 22

The EB 22 cell oven for stress relaxation has 6 cells with individual temperatures and individual control of the air exchange rate for each cell.

Cell oven, EB 23

The EB 23 cell oven for relaxation tests has 4 cells with the same temperature, and individual control of the air exchange rate for each cell.

Cell oven, EB 23

The EB 23 LTP cell oven for relaxation tests has 4 cells with the same temperature and temperature cycling between approximately +20 °C to +200 °C.

Room temperature box, EB 02.08

The EB 02.08 room temperature box is used for testing in room temperature to avoid variation in the load curve caused by temperature variation in the laboratory.

The EB 02.25 low temperature box is almost the same as EB 02.08, except that it is equipped with water cooling by tap water.
